Technical Support

Our technical support staff provides support and problem resolution through telephone, email and online chat. We are looking for people experienced with support processes in a technical or Internet environment. An ideal candidate has experience with some or all of the following: Linux, basic UNIX commands, basic Linux system administration skills, Win2000 and 2003 Server, SSH, FTP, MySQL, Apache, PHP, Perl, Miva, Java, HTML, ASP, SQL Server and IIS.

Infrastructure

Our Infrastructure team is responsible for operating Certified I.T.’s network of over 200 servers. Team members routinely deploy new servers, perform maintenance on existing servers, and provide advanced trouble shooting and support for the rest of the organization. Candidates should be familiar and preferably certified in Windows 2000/2003 and Linux systems administration, have a strong understanding of IP networking, an eye for detail, and the ability to work well independently. A good working knowledge of PHP, Perl, MySQL, Apache, Cisco IOS, BGP, OSPF, ASP, and IIS 5.0 is valuable.

Customer Support

In this position the candidate will assist our customers via incoming telephone calls and emails. Key responsibilities include customer billing, billing inquiries, inbound sales, account provisioning and customer retention. The qualified candidate will have previous telephone customer service experience and an excellent phone manner and customer relation skills. This position requires maintaining an open line of communication with customers and technical staff.

Sales

In this position the candidate will pursue strategic partnerships with companies in related industries to develop leads for dedicated server, shared hosting, and T-1 Internet access accounts. We are looking for people with excellent communication and negotiation skills. Phone skills are a must and the candidate must be comfortable with face-to-face selling situations. Multi-tasking and a high level of organization are desirable. Previous sales experience is a plus.
